‘Why Don’t You Marry Him?’: Dania Enwer Shares Her Daughter’s Surprising Advice
Dania Enwer Shares How Her Daughter Inspired Her Second Chance at Love
Facing the challenges of a difficult first marriage, actress Dania Enwer found strength in her daughter’s heartfelt advice, ultimately leading her to rediscover love and happiness.
Appearing on the FHM podcast, the Habs actress opened up about her personal journey, sharing how her daughter played a pivotal role in encouraging her to remarry.
Dania revealed, “I got married for the first time at the age of 19. My first marriage lasted for years, but my husband’s drug addiction made life unbearable. His condition worsened, and he became abusive, which forced me to end the relationship.”
She further disclosed that she no longer has any contact with her ex-husband. “He doesn’t even visit the children. I’ve taught my kids to respect their father and shown them who he is, but he hasn’t made any effort to reach out. Wherever he is, I hope he’s doing well,” she said.
After her divorce, Dania initially decided to stay single, focusing on her children. However, a chance encounter brought joy back into her life. “I met a good man and was in a relationship with him for two years. I wanted to take things slow, but during the third year, my daughter asked me, ‘If he is a good man, why don’t you marry him?’”
Her daughter’s simple yet profound words gave her the courage to take a leap of faith. “I wasn’t just thinking about myself. I was also concerned about my children’s safety and well-being, which is why I took time before making the decision,” she recalled.
Three years after her divorce, Dania remarried at the age of 37, tying the knot with Farhan Baig, the son of legendary actor Nadeem Baig. Reflecting on her decision, she expressed gratitude for her supportive mother-in-law. “My mother-in-law praised my decision to end my first marriage and continues to give me great advice. I’m fortunate to have her in my life,” she said.
On a previous appearance on Mazaq Raat, Dania openly discussed her relationship with her husband. “I love him very much… now I know what love is,” she said. She also shared her perspective on unrequited love. “One-sided love is useless. I experienced love twice in my life, and both times I expressed my feelings directly. The first one didn’t work out, but the second taught me the true meaning of love,” she added, hinting at her first marriage.
Today, Dania Enwer is happily married, grateful for her family’s support, and cherishing the second chance at love that her daughter inspired.
