When Neelam shared her wedding photos from a stunning nikah ceremony near Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, her husband’s attire—a jubbah, a traditional Arabic dress—sparked speculation that he might be a Sheikh. Adding to the buzz, a local YouTuber claimed that Muhammad Rashid works in the CID department of Dubai Police.
However, Samar Ranjha, Neelam’s brother-in-law, dismissed these rumors in an interview with a local media outlet. He confirmed that their family hails from Mianwal Ranjha, a village in Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab. He further shared that Muhammad Rashid is the second eldest of six siblings, including four brothers and two sisters. Rashid has been living in Dubai since 2006, where he runs a successful travel and tourism business along with owning three to four cafes and restaurants in the city.
Speaking about their love story, Samar revealed that Neelam and Rashid first met at a restaurant in Dubai, and their relationship blossomed over two and a half years of social media interaction before they decided to tie the knot.
The couple’s wedding was an intimate affair in Dubai, attended by close family members. A valima reception is planned in their hometown next month to celebrate the union with extended family and friends.
