Bollywood star Nora Fatehi narrowly escaped the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles that have forced over 130,000 residents to evacuate their homes. The actor-dancer shared her harrowing experience on Instagram, revealing how she had to flee her residence amidst the chaos.

In a video posted to her Instagram stories, Fatehi said, “I’m in LA, and the wildfires are crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this. This is insane.”

She further explained, “We just got an evacuation order like five minutes ago. I quickly packed all my stuff and I’m evacuating out of here. I’m heading near the airport because I have a flight today. I hope it doesn’t get canceled because this is scary. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.”

Fatehi also assured her followers she would keep them updated and expressed hope for everyone’s safety, adding, “I really hope people in LA are safe.”

Prior to her message, the Street Dancer star posted a brief video from her car, showing the raging fires with the caption, “The LA fires are crazy right now… I hope everyone is okay.”

Bollywood icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas also witnessed the wildfires firsthand. Sharing a video from her mansion, she wrote, “My thoughts are with everyone. I hope we are all able to be safe tonight,” while thanking rescue workers and the fire department for their efforts.

The wildfires have so far destroyed more than 1,000 structures and consumed nearly 15,000 acres of land in areas like Pacific Palisades, home to many celebrities.

Hollywood stars including Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Paris Hilton, and Anthony Hopkins reportedly lost their homes, while others like Mark Hamill, Mandy Moore, and Ben Affleck were forced to evacuate. The disaster has also delayed productions of major shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Abbott Elementary and postponed events such as the Critics’ Choice Awards.

The wildfires continue to blaze across Southern California, leaving destruction in their wake and displacing countless residents, including prominent figures in the entertainment industry.
