Rakhi Sawant Starts the New Year with Umrah Pilgrimage

Indian actress Rakhi Sawant has welcomed 2025 with a spiritual beginning, embarking on her second Umrah pilgrimage.

The Joru Ka Ghulam actress, who embraced Islam after marrying Adil Durrani, continues her journey of faith despite their marriage ending in 2023. Last year, Rakhi performed her first Umrah to find peace after her separation, and now, she is on her second pilgrimage, strengthening her spiritual connection.

Currently in the holy city of Madina, Rakhi is preparing to visit the Khana Kaaba for her Umrah rituals. Reflecting on her experience, she shared, “While the world celebrates New Year, I’ve chosen to begin mine with a spiritual journey. Starting 2025 with Umrah fills my heart with hope and peace.”

Rakhi expressed her gratitude for the serene experience, saying, “It’s so peaceful to see everyone performing Umrah with such devotion. I am praying for all my friends and those in need.”

In a heartfelt interview, Rakhi previously mentioned her ongoing search for happiness and a fulfilling life partner. “I will keep getting married until I find the right life partner. Life is too short to stop loving,” she stated. Comparing her choices to Hollywood, she said, “There, multiple marriages and relationships are accepted. The stigma only exists here in India.”

Rakhi’s personal life has often been under scrutiny. After her marriage to Adil Khan Durrani became public earlier in 2023, Adil initially denied the relationship before admitting it. Following her mother’s passing, rumors of marital troubles surfaced. Rakhi later approached the court for a divorce, citing allegations of Adil’s infidelity, physical abuse, and financial disputes.

Despite her challenges, Rakhi remains focused on her spiritual path and her commitment to personal growth and peace.
