Malaika Arora Addresses Arjun Kapoor’s Breakup Announcement

Bollywood star Malaika Arora has finally addressed the breakup announcement made by her ex-boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor, who recently confirmed that he is “single.”

Rumors of their split had been circulating for months, but Kapoor officially declared his single status during a Diwali party this year. Meanwhile, Arora, who was grieving the loss of her father, had refrained from commenting on the matter until now.

In a recent interview with an Indian media outlet, the Munni Badnaam star opened up about Kapoor’s statement. “I am a very private person, and there are certain aspects of my life that I prefer not to elaborate on,” she shared. “I will never choose a public platform to discuss my personal life.”

Regarding Kapoor’s comments, she said, “Whatever Arjun has said is entirely his prerogative. This year has been very challenging for me for various reasons, and I believe it’s time for all of us to move forward from what happened.”

She added, “I am ready to embrace the New Year and start a new chapter in my life.”

Arora and Kapoor had been in a relationship since 2018, shortly after Arora finalized her divorce from ex-husband Arbaaz Khan in 2017.
