The video showed Maryam enjoying her time in London, shopping at malls, strolling through the streets, and wearing a stylish dress paired with high heels. Her visible baby bump in the video became the subject of negative comments, with some users deeming her outfit inappropriate.
In response, Maryam addressed the criticism with a bold statement on Instagram. She called out the double standards of her detractors, saying, “Pakistani awaam getting triggered seeing a bump as if they were dropped from the skies like they were told as toddlers. If you have a problem seeing a bump, unfollow and move on because I will be showing A LOT of it! I’m proud and amazed at what my/our body is capable of, and I don’t shy away from flaunting it.”
The actress first announced her pregnancy in November, sharing her excitement about becoming a mother.
Maryam Nafees tied the knot with Aman Ahmed in March 2022 after being engaged in 2021. The couple is now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child, expected after three years of marriage.
